Das Bot - New Hollyism

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  This is why the kids have been home with me all this time... would someone at a day care even have GOTTEN this joke, let alone remembered to tell us?  NO.  We had new Holly Comedy yesterday and it is transcribed herewith:

Back in August James made Holly and Ashlee a canoe, complete with two oars, out of the box from our new range hood.  He's Crafty like that.  As I was cooking yesterday afternoon, Ashlee and Holly were playing in the boat in the living room.  They had taken one of the oars and stood it up in the middle of the boat like a mast.   Holly was in the boat, holding a blanket. Ashlee was out of the boat and would yell "raise the sails matey!"  at which point Holly would hook the blanket on top of the "mast" and spread the sails.  Then Ashlee would say "no more wind!" and the sails would then hang down, a.k.a. luffing (huh? huh? sailing lingo?? Thanks Roger and Dad! :)   This went on for a while without incident.  About 10 minutes later I heard Ashlee again say "raise the sails matey!" to which Holly finally yelled "OH JUST LET IT SINK!!"

Holly - she does rock the one-liners.
